A Journey to the Source of the Ganges – A Journey to Shivaloka in the Himalayas and Within Oneself
Pilgrimige to Gangotri
We invite you on a pilgrimage to the Indian Himalayas, to the source of the Ganges—the sacred river that has been revered for millennia as a source of life, purification, and grace.
We will journey to a landscape that Indian tradition calls Shivaloka—a realm of silence, glacial peaks, spring waters, and places where yogis and rishis have meditated for centuries. This journey is not merely a physical trek through the mountains, but also a space for stillness, sadhana, yoga practice, and an inner experience that cannot be conveyed in words.
Swami Shri Avatarpuriji Maharaj, the designated successor of Vishwaguru Maheshvaranandji, founder of the Yoga in Daily Life system and creator of the Om Ashram, has also confirmed his participation in this pilgrimage.

The journey to the sacred site of sādhanā and the stay within the spiritual lineage of the Śrī Alakhpurīji Parampara
Journey to Sri Alakhpuriji’s cave
We invite you on a pilgrimage to the Indian Himalayas, to the region above the sacred Badrinath, to places that are not merely geographical points on a map, but living centers of spiritual tradition. The cave of Shri Alakhpuriji is one of the tapasya sites of the great Himalayan masters associated with the Shri Alakhpuriji Guru Parampara lineage and represents a space where, for many, many years, the practice of sadhana, absolute inner silence, and profound knowledge has flourished.
This pilgrimage is not based on the present moment—on the gradual stilling of the mind, simplicity, and the harmony of the mountain environment. A stay at the cave offers ample time for meditation, inner work, and peaceful walks in the surrounding area, including sites near the Vasudhara and Alakhpuriji waterfalls.
For students of the Yoga in Daily Life system, this place holds special significance as it is part of their spiritual lineage; at the same time, however, it remains open to all who feel a connection to the authentic yoga tradition and wish to encounter its living vibration directly in its natural setting. Swami Shri Avatarpuriji Maharaj has promised to bless our pilgrimage with his presence throughout our stay at this location.

A journey to high-altitude regions, offering a deeper experience of silence and space—both among the Himalayan peaks and within ourselves
Journey to Sri Devpuriji’s cave
We invite you on a pilgrimage to the Indian Himalayas, to the region above the sacred Badrinath, to places that are not merely geographical points on a map, but living centers of spiritual tradition. The caves of Shri Alakhpuriji and Shri Devpuriji are among the sites of tapasya (spiritual discipline) of the great Himalayan masters associated with the Shri Alakhpuriji Guru Parampara lineage. These places are deeply rooted in the spiritual tradition of the Indian Himalayas and represent a space where, over many, many years, the practice of sadhana, absolute inner silence, and complete realization has developed.
This pilgrimage leads further into the higher Himalayan altitudes, into a space where the landscape becomes more dramatic, more open, and more powerful. The journey passes through mystical places such as Laxmivan, Chakratirth, Satopanth, or the Svargarohini region—places associated with the ancient stories of the Pandava brothers and their final pilgrimage at the end of the Mahabharata. Moving through this environment offers an intense mountain experience—silence, space, wind, ice, and breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. It is not merely a physical journey, but a direct encounter with the energy of Shivaloka in its raw and unadorned form, a touch of the presence of Shri Devpuriji.
Planning a trip to the Himalayas and India isn’t just about choosing a route—it’s the beginning of the adventure itself. We carefully tailor each trek to your experience, pace, and expectations so that you can fully enjoy not only the majestic mountains but also the authentic atmosphere of India. We’ll take care of the logistics, safety, and local guides, while you can focus on what matters most—an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
